Reading Frederick Douglass Together
Please join us for a zoom reading of Frederick Douglass' speech “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” at 11am on July 4th. Our event will be one of many community gatherings across the state reading this address together, and reflecting on our past and present.
We have partnered with Somerville Museum to help get the word out, and they are doing a live reading at Bow Market in Union Square on July 1st at 4pm.
